It needs to be dry before you let your pet on your lawn. You might want to treat one area at a time, for example, the front, the back, that way you can take your pet out to the area that is dry.

The ready to spray hose end product does not have dilution rates. It is to be used by connecting it to the hose and spraying the lawns, that is why there are not mixing instructions on the label similar to our Spectracide Weed Stop for Lawns plus Crabgrass Killer Concentrate. http://www.spectracide.com/Products...

Question

Does cold weather effect the time it takes to kill weeds?

I have sprayed (hose end and spot) various weeds in my yard and it is taking a very long time (10) days for the weed to look like it has been sprayed and is ready to croak. Does the fact that it is still cold here slow the killing process. I live in Charlotte, NC.

Thanks!

We don't have a step-by-step video, but the video on the Spectracide Weed Stop page of our website shows the bottle being hooked up to the hose and used. Here are the directions:
Shake container well before using, then connect your hose to the container nozzle (make sure the dial on the nozzle is in the “OFF” position). Turn on water at your faucet. Extend hose to the farthest area to be treated and work back toward the faucet. To begin spraying, point the nozzle toward treatment site and bend the safety tab back with your thumb while turning dial clockwise until it stops. Water will automatically mix with the product. After application, quickly turn the dial counterclockwise until it stops and the safety tab engages into the notch on the valve. Turn the water off at the faucet. To relieve pressure before removing the nozzle from the hose, bend the safety tab back and turn the dial on until water stops spraying.

This product is only designed for use on lawns. You should not use on edibles or ornamentals. For spot weed treatment around flowers, you can use Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer (but you will need to cover desirable plants). You should not use Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer around herbs, though.

No, the temperatures sound perfect. You should have started seeing some results after about 8 hours -- give it a few more days before you start seeing more extensive weed kill. Please let us know if you don't get these results within several days, and we'll be happy to help.
